Centre (make 2)
With Lemonade, make a magic loop.
Round 1 (RS) Ch1 (does not count as st), 6dc into loop. [6 sts]
Round 2 2dc in each st around. [12 sts]
Round 3 (1dc, 2dc in next st) 6 times. [18 sts]
Round 4 (2dc, 2dc in next st) 6 times. [24 sts]
Round 5 (3dc, 2dc in next st) 6 times. [30 sts]
Round 6 2dc, 2dc in next st, (4dc, 2dc in next st) 5 times, 2dc. [36 sts]
Round 7 (5dc, 2dc in next st) 6 times. [42 sts]
Round 8 3dc, 2dc in next st, (6dc, 2dc in next st) 6 times, 3dc. [48 sts]
Ss in next st and fasten off.
Take the first Centre piece and join Saffron in any st with a dc.
Round 1 (RS) Dc in the next 5 sts on this piece, then take the second Centre piece and hold it so the 2 Centre pieces are WS together. Turn both pieces around so that you are positioned to work in the RS edge of the second Centre piece and dc in 6 sts so that the 2 Centre pieces are joined. Cont to work in the round on these 12 sts, turning so that you are always working from the RS. [12 sts]
Round 2 Dc in each st around, skipping 1 st at the centre front of the Point and 1 st at the centre back. [10 sts]
Rounds 3-4 Repeat Round 2. [6 sts after Round 4]
Use the tail of yarn to thread through the front loop of the remaining sts, pull to close and secure. Thread the tail of yarn inside the Point. Use the starting tail of yarn to sew closed the gap between the two Centre pieces at the base of the Point.
For the next Point, rejoin Saffron in the next st around on the first Centre piece and repeat, counting 6 sts back from the previous point when you turn to work into the second Centre piece.
Cont until you have worked a total of 6 points.
Complete the 7th and 8th Point as above, topping up the stuffing as you go and using the tails of yarn to sew together any remaining gap between the Points.
